Defender Handguards

Defender handguards are the perfect balance of safety, protection, lightness, and brute strength. They protect your fingers from twigs, branches while roosting at high speeds, allow for more bar flex, and they absorb impacts, keeping you on track.

Defender Bar Ends will help protect from side impacts, while the Defender Handguards will protect you from frontal impacts.

After testing various types of handguards, we found that 'full wrap' guards are cumbersome to install, dangerous during a crash (hands get caught and wrists break), overly stiffen the bar, and don't absorb impacts well. We found that lighter 'single mount' guards provide safety, but bend easily in a crash.
